This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data. By using P1T, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

03 Information We Collect
1. Anonymous Analytics Data
We collect anonymous, non-identifiable usage data to improve the App's functionality and user experience. This includes:
- App Interactions: Which screens you view, buttons you tap, and features you use
- Device Information: Device model, operating system version, and platform (iOS/Android)
- Usage Patterns: How frequently you use certain features, session duration, and navigation paths
- Performance Metrics: App crashes, errors, and load times
This data is completely anonymous and cannot be linked to you personally. We do not collect:

2. User Preferences
We store your app preferences locally on your device using secure storage:

Storage Location: This data is stored only on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.
Note: Your selected favourite team, driver, and era are also sent to RevenueCat (our subscription management provider) to help us understand user preferences and improve subscription offerings. This data is not linked to your personal identity and is used solely for subscription analytics.
3. Subscription Information
If you subscribe to P1T Pro, we process subscription data through:
- Apple App Store (for iOS users)
- Google Play Store (for Android users)
- RevenueCat (subscription management and analytics platform)
We receive only:
- ✅ Subscription status (active/inactive)
- ✅ Subscription type (monthly/annual)
- ✅ Subscription start/renewal dates
- ❌ We do not receive your payment information (handled entirely by Apple/Google)
RevenueCat User Attributes: To improve our subscription offerings, we share the following with RevenueCat: your selected favourite team, favourite driver, and F1 era preference. These attributes are not linked to your personal identity.
04 How We Use Your Information
Analytics & App Improvement
We use anonymous analytics data to:
- Identify which features are most popular
- Detect crashes and technical issues
- Optimise app speed and reliability
- Prioritise new features based on user behaviour
- Track session duration and feature adoption
You Control Analytics: You can disable analytics collection at any time through Settings → Data & Privacy → Anonymous Telemetry. When disabled, zero analytics events are sent to our servers.
Notifications
If you enable Pit Radio Alerts, we use Firebase Cloud Messaging to deliver race updates, qualifying results, and session reminders. You can disable notifications at any time in the app settings or device system settings.
Subscription Management
We verify your subscription status with Apple/Google to unlock premium features, restore purchases, and manage subscription renewals. All payment information is handled exclusively by Apple App Store or Google Play — we never see or store your card details.
05 Third-Party Services & Data Sharing
RevenueCat
We use RevenueCat as our subscription management platform to validate purchases, track subscription status, and provide analytics.
Data shared with RevenueCat:

- ✅ Anonymous app user ID
- ✅ User attributes: favourite team, driver, F1 era preference
- ✅ Platform (iOS/Android) and app version
- ❌ Name, email, or phone number

Firebase (Google)
We use Firebase services to power the app:
- Firebase Analytics: Anonymous usage tracking (opt-out available)
- Firebase Cloud Firestore: Store F1 race data, results, and standings
- Firebase Cloud Messaging: Deliver push notifications
- Firebase Cloud Functions: Process and update race data automatically

Apple & Google In-App Purchase Services
If you subscribe to P1T Pro, payments are processed securely by Apple App Store (iOS) or Google Play Billing (Android). We receive only confirmation of an active subscription.
Data Sharing
We do not share, sell, or rent your data to third parties.
The only data transmission that occurs:
- ✅ Anonymous analytics to Firebase (Google)
- ✅ Subscription status verification with Apple/Google
- ✅ Subscription data and user attributes to RevenueCat
We do not:
- ❌ Sell your data
- ❌ Share data with advertisers
- ❌ Use data for targeted advertising
- ❌ Share data with data brokers
- ❌ Track you across other apps or websites
06 Your Privacy Rights
Opt-Out of Analytics
- Open the P1T app
- Navigate to Settings (gear icon)
- Go to Data & Privacy
- Toggle Anonymous Telemetry OFF
Delete Your Data
- Uninstall the app — removes all local preferences and cached data
- Disable Analytics — stops future data collection
- Contact Us — request deletion of any anonymous analytics
Manage Notifications
- In-App: Settings → Garage Settings → Pit Radio Alerts
- iOS: Settings → Notifications → P1T
- Android: Settings → Apps → P1T → Notifications
Manage Subscription
- iOS: Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → P1T Pro → Cancel
- Android: Play Store → Subscriptions → P1T Pro → Cancel
Note: Cancel at least 24 hours before renewal to avoid the next billing cycle.
07 Children's Privacy
P1T is rated 4+ (iOS) and Everyone (Android). The app does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. Since we don't collect personal data, this risk is minimal.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it immediately.

09 International Data Transfers
Our Service is available globally. Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
10 Your Rights Under GDPR (EU Users)
If you are located in the European Union, you have the following rights:
- Right to Access: Request a copy of data we hold (none, as it's anonymous)
- Right to Deletion: Request deletion, or simply disable analytics
- Right to Object: Object to data processing via the analytics toggle
- Right to Data Portability: Not applicable (no personal data stored)
- Right to Withdraw Consent: Disable analytics anytime in settings
We process data under the following legal bases: Legitimate Interest (analytics), Consent (withdrawal available), Contract (subscription verification), and Legal Obligation (App Store/Play Store requirements).

11 Your Rights Under CCPA (California Users)
California residents have the right to:
- Know: What data we collect (anonymous analytics only)
- Delete: Request deletion or disable analytics in settings
- Opt-Out: Disable analytics collection via the in-app toggle
- Non-Discrimination: We don't discriminate if you exercise privacy rights
We do not sell your personal information because we don't collect it.
12 Cookies & Tracking Technologies
P1T does not use:
- ❌ Cookies
- ❌ Advertising IDs
- ❌ Cross-app tracking
- ❌ Web beacons or pixels
The only identifiers used are:
- ✅ Firebase Analytics anonymous app instance ID (can be reset by disabling analytics)
- ✅ Device model info (for compatibility, not tracking)
Tracking Status: We do not track users for advertising purposes, in compliance with Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework and Google Play policies.
13 Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through app update release notes and in-app notifications. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent revision.
Your continued use of P1T after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
